Exercise Physiologist

As an Accredited exercise physiologist (AEP), Dale specialises in clinical exercise interventions for persons at high-risk of developing, or with existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injurie

Dale’s intervention aims to prevent or manage chronic disease or injury, and assist in restoring one’s optimal physical function, health or wellness.

Dale completed his bachelor’s degree in applied science (Human Movement and Health Studies) in 2009 (UniSA) and completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Science in 2011 (UniSA).

Clinical Rehab

Dale has a special interest in the management of chronic musculoskeletal conditions and pain management. Dale uses a biopsychosocial model for the management of chronic pain and believes in treating the individual in a holistic way.

Dale also has vast experience working with clients with chronic medical conditions including

Kabi has been instrumental in the coordination of the Return to Work Program for injured workers in Australia. In recognition of Kabi’s excellence, he was nominated for the Health and Rehabilitation Achievement Award 2010 and also in 2011 (South Australia), by WorkCover SA.

Kabi is a certified Occupational Health and Safety Consultant and also certified Trainer and Assessor.

Occupational Rehab

Over the past 7 years, Dale has been working with an Employment provider, using his skills to assist people gain and sustain employment. Dale has experience conducting assessments for vocational counselling or functional capacity evaluations. He also has extensive experience running exercise prescription for client’s safe and suitable return to work.

Over the past few years, Dale has started to specialise in the Return to Work and Motor Vehicle Accident insurance schemes, using his knowledge to deliver effective exercise programs that promote a prompt return to client’s employment or normal activities of daily living. Dales exercise prescription is very functional, utilising equipment and movements to mimic client’s normal work duties and demands.

Sports Rehab

Dale has a keen interest in sports performance and injury prevention. Dale uses current best practice and up-to-date treatment approaches for optimal injury prevention programs and return to sport following injuries.

Dale is a current player within the South Australian Amateur Soccer league and has a keen interest in Australian Rules Football.
